Judy Patel/Media Director and Account Supervisor: Judy joined WMSH in January of 2009 and quickly moved into media buying and account coordination.
A graduate of Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, Judy had studied Marketing with a minor in Spanish. Her minor offered her the opportunity to study in Madrid with St. Louis University In Spain.
After graduation, Judy joined Provident Mutual Life Insurance Company of Philadelphia as an Administrative Systems Analyst, later called a Consulting Services Analyst. For the next ten years, she performed time studies, facilitated re-engineering workshops, and assisted in organizing and administering the company’s Quality Program.
As a result of these efforts, she analyzed procedures throughout the company, acquiring a working understanding of how to do almost every job. With her analysis, she determined staffing requirements and uncovered opportunities for improvement. She also worked closely with Quality Team Leaders, at first training them and then assisting their teams in finding improvements to their own procedures.
While at Provident Mutual, Judy began working toward an M.B.A. in Management Information Systems, but her original interest in marketing and promotion led her to change from that path. She left Provident Mutual to stay home with her two daughters. In anticipation of returning to the workforce, Judy began studying advertising at Rowan University and computer graphic design at Camden County College and from there joined WMSH.
